Frank Giurleo, who graduated from Hackensack High School and then taught at Hackensack High School for over 30 years until he retired in 2010, sent a veteran form on his dad, Frank A. Giurleo, in 2004 and said that he attended Hackensack Schools and served in the Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946 and became a Seamen 2nd Class.
